A clear purpose is a good starting point
You may have a drawing, an inspiration photo or simply something in the space that is not working. Any of those can start the conversation.
- Purpose: describe what the piece or structure needs to do, not only how you want it to look.
- Fit: include rough dimensions, site photos and the existing work it needs to connect with.
- Materials and finish: share the appearance you have in mind and any details you want to retain.
- Scope: explain whether this is a standalone carpentry project or one part of a larger sauna or deck build.
The timber-frame photographs show construction-stage work and joinery, not a completed habitable building. Engineering, building services and approvals for any occupied structure must be agreed separately; our portfolio is not a claim to provide every trade.

What kind of custom carpentry do you take on?
Our focus is outdoor carpentry, including deck and entry details, privacy screens, sauna carpentry and custom timber builds. Send a description and photos so we can confirm whether your particular project is a fit.
Can you build a cabin, bunkie, workshop or studio?
We advertise customisable timber structures for these uses. The right scope depends on the intended use, site and design. A finished, serviced or habitable building requires additional decisions about approvals, engineering and other trades; those are not automatically included.
Can carpentry be part of a sauna or deck project?
Yes. The boards, benches, screens, stairs and connections can be considered alongside the main build, helping the finished space feel coherent.
Can you work from my sketch or inspiration photos?
Share what you have, together with rough measurements and the property location. Those materials help explain the idea; technical drawings or specialist input may still be needed depending on the work.
